Coaching

Our coaching approach is thorough, intensive and honest, enabling managers to make a realistic appraisal of their situation - what needs to change and why. We help people understand what energises them, maximise their strengths and overcome potential blockages.

Our approach puts particular emphasis on:

The Contract - ensuring that everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet: the goals for coaching need to be realistic, transparent, defined in terms of observable outcomes, and supported by both the sponsoring line manager and the individual.

Assessment - understanding the current situation: where possible, we gather feedback to understand the detail of what's really going on. We return for further feedback as coaching progresses to establish if performance is changing outside of the coaching room.

Matching the best coaching style for a situation or individual - there isn't one way to coach. Our experience allows us to adapt our approach to meet the needs of a specific coaching situation. People, issues and organisations are all delightfully different. We recognise that.
